Trek Assessment #4

My favorite experience from my first two treks would have to be on my trek 1 when I was at the park on Oakland Ave. and I saw three children playing around on the playground equipment while their mothers watched over them and talked amongst themselves. It was very nostalgic for me. It made me think about my own childhood and the simplicity of life when I was that age. All I cared about was playing with my friends and exploring. I wished I was still that age and that I wasn’t out on this trek doing homework to get a good grade in this class that would eventually lead me to a degree so I could get a good job and save up enough money to retire around age sixty and live comfortably until I died. Ignorance really is bliss when you’re young and you don’t think about these things.
